Kinetic Sculpture Camp

This exciting new camp uses a curriculum shared by the Edgerton Center at MIT. Students will explore familiar materials in new and whimsical ways. Through the manipulation of traditional art supplies, recycled materials, hardware, and food, students will build a variety of kinetic elements. In the process they will experiment with concepts such as center of balance, potential and kinetic energy, gear mechanisms, and harnessing wind-generated power.
